About Dr. Linn
Dr. Linn was born and raised in Fargo, North Dakota. He attended college and medical school in Grand Forks, North Dakota, where he graduated in the top 10% of his medical school class.
After completing residency training in Phoenix at St. Joseph's Hospital and Maricopa Medical Center, Dr. Linn joined a practice in Scottsdale, where he practiced for 15 years. In that time period, the practice grew to be the largest group in Scottsdale.
Dr. Linn's connections to Prescott began in 1980 when his in-laws, Lee and Jan Amble moved here. His sister-in-law, Twila married a 3rd generation Prescottonian, Robert Brutinel.
In 1982, Dr Linn married his wife, Tammy, and she worked 3 jobs while he went through his training. Later, they had 3 boys, Alex, born in 1995, Austin, born in 1999 and Andrew, born in 2001. In Phoenix they both worked and had 3 young children. It became obvious that they and their children would be better off getting closer to family. Much to the dismay of their staff and co-workers, they left their positions in Phoenix and started over in Prescott where their children have the benefit of cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents.
Dr. Linn currently runs this growing gynecologic practice and his wife Tammy is the Executive Director for the United Way of Yavapai County.
